3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 lb. lean beef, such as sirloin or flank steak
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
Hot cooked Chinese noodles or cooked white rice

Combine all ingredients except beef and sesame seeds in a large zip-lock bag and mix well. Add beef and let marinate several hours. Remove beef from marinade and grill over hot coals to desired doneness. Remove from grill and let stand for a few minutes. Slice thinly against the grain and place over hot cooked Chinese noodles or white rice. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve. Makes approximately 6 servings.
